Inside of a Money for Mujeres workshop, you’ll learn exactly what you need to know to confidently buy your first investment inside of your retirement account.

Build Wealth While Broke®
In this 60 minute class, students will learn a 4 step system to level up their dinero. Learn about High Yield Savings Accounts, saving for retirement in IRAs, debt payoff strategies and budgeting.
The last 20 minutes of class will be work time – students will take 1 action on what was learned.

Retire on Time
In this 60 minute class, every student will run through a simple compound interest exercise to understand the power and importance of saving for retirement. We must buy stocks and bonds inside of retirement accounts in order to retire on time (aka we have to invest). This class is for people who never really learned about investing or who have but are too afraid or overwhelmed to start. You will learn investing basics at a birds eye view.

Investing 101
In this 90 minute class, students will run their money through a retirement calculator to arrive at how much they should invest per month to meet their retirement goal. Students will learn about 3 common types of investing: the DIY strategy, 3 fund portfolio, and Target Date Index Fund strategy. This class is for people who are ready to open and purchase an investment inside of their retirement account (even just $10). You will leave the class having identified your first investment strategy.

Investing 101 + Work time
In this 120 minute class, students will achieve everything outlined for the Investing 101 class. Plus, they will have 30 minutes of work-time. During work-time, students may choose to open and fund their IRA. Student’s will learn exactly which buttons to click to buy their investment. The instructor will be available to assist with general questions during this time.
