We help first generation Latinas retire on time and build wealth con confianza.

Don’t go another year telling yourself you’ll “look into saving for retirement soon” and then not do it. Saving for retirement can be simple. Plus, you can do it $10 at a time. I’ll teach you how.

Most Latinas put everyone else first and wait to invest in themselves until “later.”

But amiga, every year you wait, you miss out on free money (compound interest!). You don’t have to be wealthy to start building wealth. All you need is a plan and a little support.

Whether you’re in debt, have thousands in the bank, or haven’t opened your bank app in months – I promise shame-free education and support every step of the way.

Imagine knowing the exact year you’re going to retire.

We offer 1:1 coaching for individuals and workshops for businesses, non-profits, and organizations looking to bring retirement education to their community.

Real Mujeres, Real Results

  • I was mostly afraid of being judged. Despite my own fears, I never once felt scared or nervous during my time with Mariel. While she might ask you to be open about your money, she looks at your situation not to judge, but to provide solutions. She shows you the gaps and provides education and tools to fill those gaps.

  • [Mariel] helped calm and understand the unease of investing [for retirement] with easy to digest information. It doesn’t sound like much, but the relief in hearing that [my husband and I] could potentially get to enjoy our retirement in our 50s versus 60s and 70s when our bodies have aged was a huge relief!

  • I’m truly grateful for [Mariel’s] commitment to getting more Latinas and WOC to invest [for retirement], even a couple of dollars at a time.

Meet Mariel

Mariel Amador is a Special Education Teacher who helps women open an ‘IRA’, buy their first investment, and not retire broke. Mariel first learned about a ‘Roth IRA’ during a virtual money happy hour peak COVID. In that workshop, she realized she should not have cashed out her 401k and gone to Cabo with the money. She was also annoyed that no where in her MBA program did they mention saving for retirement. So, Mariel founded Money For Mujeres and is now on a mission to close the gender investing gap – one ‘IRA’ at a time.
